Thunder Hawk Athletics is excited to share that CCM Health & Big Stone Therapies has formed a partnership with the Montevideo Athletic Department. This partnership aims to ensure the well-being of student athletes by offering comprehensive care during various high school sporting events held in Montevideo.
We would like to introduce you to Donnie Hermanson, ATC/EMT Athletic Trainer. Donnie will be available to screen athlete injuries when school is in session on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm at the high school. Following the screening, he will communicate with the athlete, their coach, and/or parent(s) if appropriate regarding any recommendations, referrals, or needed care. Donnie will also be on the sideline to provide care for athletes at all home varsity football, dance, volleyball, cross country, track, basketball, swimming, baseball, softball and wrestling events.
A free athletic screening is available at the school or at CCM Health when no staff is available. Recommendations will be communicated to the parents, coach, and healthcare provider of choice. Contact (320) 321-8230 to set up a free screening.
