Did you know that every Minnesota public school student is part of a public school trust?
A Minnesota constitutional amendment affecting the Permanent School Fund will appear on the November ballot this fall.
If approved by voters, the amendment would increase distributions from the Permanent School Fund to schools across Minnesota without raising taxes. No new tax increase. Just an increase of distributing the earnings on already invested state money from 2.5% to 4.5%.

If the Permanent School Fund Constitutional Amendment passes, Montevideo Schools would receive over $46,000 annually with no new taxes. You can look up your local district in the link to see the potential impact in your district.
Leaving it blank counts as a "NO" vote.
