Montevideo Middle School has been recognized by the U.S. News and World Report as one of the best elementary/middle schools in Minnesota. Montevideo Middle School is ranked in the top 13% of all elementary/middle schools in Minnesota. The U.S. News and World Report uses state test scores based on projected proficiency in reading and math given our current student enrollment and student demographics. This recognition shows that MMS students are making excellent progress within all student sub-groups.
This recognition comes two years after being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. These achievements can only be achieved when all stakeholders, including students, teachers, support staff, parents, and our community are committed to student success.
