Nutritional and Educational Programs 🍎
Beyond just providing meals, Taher, Inc. focuses on nutrition awareness education. They utilize a program featuring a character named NUTRA KID™ to teach children about healthy eating habits. This initiative aims to positively influence students' attitudes toward nutrition, helping them make informed food choices that can last a lifetime. The company also promotes a "Harvest of the Month" program to introduce students to a wider variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Addressing Student and District Needs 🏫
By partnering with a food service management company, Montevideo Public Schools can ensure that the food program meets all federal and state nutritional guidelines while also easing the financial and operational burden on the district. Taher, Inc. handles aspects like menu planning, purchasing, and on-site staff management. The company also offers customized food court concepts and grab-and-go options, which can help increase the efficiency of lunch lines and cater to the diverse preferences of students.
Our Goal
To provide high quality, safe and healthy meal options to every student. Students need good nutrition to feed their minds and bodies to enable them to learn during the day.
