Friday, January 20th is an Early Dismissal Day - End of Quarter 2 - for Montevideo Public Schools. Dismissal times: Ramsey 1:15 p.m., Sanford 1:20 p.m., MHS 1:25 p.m., MMS 1:30 p.m.

School Calendar Reminder: No school for students on Monday, January 16th. This is a scheduled Staff Development Day.
Hawks VS Cancer t-shirts have arrived and will be distributed this week to those who purchased one. The first day planned to wear them is Tuesday, January 17th.
Due to the weather, Montevideo Public Schools will be opening 2 hours late tomorrow, Thursday, January 5th. Buses running on plowed roads only. No morning sessions of ECSE, Small World Preschool or Community Ed activities. The Hawks Nest will be opening at 7 a.m.

Junior and Little Thunder Hawks will be opening at 9 a.m. and will be closing at 4 p.m.

All afternoon activities will be cancelled. There will be no afternoon sessions of ECSE, Small World Preschool or Community Ed activities. Junior and Little Thunder Hawks will be closing at 4 p.m.

Sanford's "Hawk of the Day" for December 5th -9th. The students have been working hard and showing their Hawk Pride this week! This quarter, every time a student earns a Hawk Pride slip, they get to write their name on a piece of paper which is then linked together to create a paper chain. Each grade is working on a chain that extends from their wing of the school to the finish line, near the music room. The first chain that makes it to the end point will earn a grade level reward first.

SCHOOL CALENDAR REMINDER: Friday, November 4th is an Early Dismissal Day and End of Quarter 1 for Montevideo Schools. Parents be on the lookout for conference sign-up information from your student's teacher/advisor. Early dismissal times are: Ramsey-1:15pm, Sanford-1:20pm, MHS-1:25pm, MMS-1:30pm.
Picture Retake Day for Sanford is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9th. IF you were NOT photographed earlier and wish to order online use the school code 74773X.
If you wish to have a RETAKE, please bring your package to the photographer when you are photographed. You do not need to go online if you are having Retakes.
