🌟Staff Spotlight!🌟 Meet Isaac Schreiner, Social Studies teacher at Montevideo High School. Hello! My name is Isaac Schreiner. This is my third year teaching at Montevideo Public Schools. I currently teach 10th grade American History and 11th grade World Geography/World History. I grew up in Sauk Centre, Minnesota where I graduated high school in 2017. Education runs in my family as my mom, dad, and younger sister are all teachers! I earned my Bachelor's degree at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2022, and I spent my first year of teaching in the Brandon/Evansville school district before arriving in Montevideo. I am also currently the Assistant Coach for the Montevideo Girls Swim team and Head Coach of the Montevideo Boys Swim team. On top of that, I enjoy helping out the Montevideo Track and Field teams as an announcer at their home meets. In my personal time, I enjoy travelling, the outdoors, and visiting my friends & family across the state. My time in Montevideo has been a wonderful experience. I am very thankful for my fellow staff and department members in the high school that have been very formative for me in my development as a younger teacher. The student body at the high school consistently impresses me with their kindness, and I am honored to play a role in their development into promising young adults. I also enjoy fully embracing my role in leading my swimmers and divers as their coach. I take pride in giving back to a sport that gave so much to me as a young athlete and doing my best to represent Thunder Hawks athletics! We are so proud to have Isaac on our team! #HawkPride #StaffSpotlight
